MENTALITY OF THE RICH

MENTALITY OF THE RICH

In this sharing, please note that the Rich and Poor people in this context refers to their mindset, not wealth.

Today, I will share with you all, the mentality of RICH People, and how nature has taught them to be even richer!

Let’s first take a look at an apple tree.
There might be five hundred apples on the tree, but each apple has just ten seeds.
That's a lot of seeds!
We might ask, "Why would you need so many seeds to grow just a few more apple trees?"
Well, Nature has something to teach us here.
It's telling us in a subtle way that, "Not all seeds grow. In life, most seeds never grow.
So if you really want to make something happen, you had better do more than once."

This means:
• You'll attend twenty interviews to get one job.
• You'll interview forty people to find one good employee.
• You'll talk to fifty people to sell one house, one car, one vacuum cleaner, one insurance policy, or a business idea.
• And you might meet a hundred acquaintances just to find one special friend.

So when we understand the "Law of the Seeds", (some people call it the Law of Averages) we don't get so disappointed.
We stop feeling like victims.
We learn how to deal with things that happen to us.
You see, the laws of nature are not things to be taken personally.
We just need to understand them better and to and work with them.

You must understand that Rich people fail more often. And they continue to plant more seeds.

So when things are beyond your control, here's something that Poor People would react almost immediately:

HOW POOR PEOPLE BEHAVE:
• You decide how you think the world SHOULD be.
• You make rules for how everyone SHOULD behave.
• Friends SHOULD return favours.
• People SHOULD appreciate you.
• Planes SHOULD arrive on time.
• Everyone SHOULD be honest.
• Your best friend SHOULD remember your birthday.

These expectations may sound reasonable. But often, these things won't happen! So you end up frustrated and disappointed.

HOW RICH PEOPLE BEHAVE:
When something unexpected occurs, you exclaimed, “That’s good!”
You proceed to shift your mindset and attitude.

When it rains just before your golf game, you exclaimed, “That’s good! I can stay home and play with my kids!”
When your boss throws back the project at your face, you exclaimed, “That’s good! Now I can come up with an even better one!”
When you get stuck in the traffic, you exclaimed, “That’s good! I can now listen to good music on the radio.”
When your wife takes too long to put on her make up just before you both go out on a date, you exclaimed, “That’s good! She wants to look pretty so match the handsome me!”
When the 49th person rejects your sale, you exclaimed, “That’s good! Let me find the next one who will buy my product!”

Shifting of your mindset and attitude can bring wonders. If you think that you are bigger than the problem, then the problem becomes smaller and you can overcome all problems.

So shout out to the world, “THAT’S GOOD!!!”

  1. Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.
You are who you are, and nobody can take away that right from you.

So if you label yourself as being successful, you will be successful. It's the mindset that you create for yourself.

    But that's not enough.

You need to take action. And that's the toughest. Once you've started, you'll be surprised by the momentum.
